God and Faith
Dr. Kenneth Benjamin Hughes, Los Angeles plastic surgeon, believes strongly in God and a believes that faith plays a critical role in surgery and patient outcomes. A life of faith allows people to overcome obstacles in all walks of life.

Why Faith and Prayer Matter in Plastic Surgery
Hospitals have chapels and chaplains, and certainly do not divorce faith from the practice of medicine. However, making physical space for prayer and faith concerns is the easy part. The more compelling argument is that medicine should make more intellectual and emotional space for faith and prayer as part of a cohesive healing methodologies. Healing is a complex multifactorial process and mental and spiritual well-being is critical to achieving the best results in plasticc surgery as well. Dr. Kenneth Hughes is a man of Faith and has been moved powerfully by the Lord through his many own trials and tribulations. Without God in the process, the process loses meaning and we all lose direction. Strength of faith is paramount in everything we do and in all that we are and in all that we can be.
Patient Deaths from COVID with Dr. Kenneth Hughes

As the coronavirus has produced more than 200,000 patient deaths in the United States, the healthcare suystem struggles to reduce the number of cases. The vaccination attempt has begun with elderly patients and front line workers getting the first doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.

As a society, we always struggle with death, but unprecedented numbers of patient deaths in this type of a pandemic really require that faith be at the top of people's priority lists.
